Do you have a storefront?
No, not at this time (but hopefully one day!) Bluebonnet Dough Works is a cottage bakery operation, meaning we bake out of our home.
Can I place orders via methods other than this website?
Yes, you can always email me, text me, send me a Facebook message, etc., to place your orders.
What is the usual response time after I submit a request/order?
I respond to messages and inquires as quickly as possible, but I do work full-time in an environment in which I'm not allowed to have my cell phone or access to personal email/social media. My usual response time is within one business day.
Why does it take a minimum of three days' lead time on orders?
Sourdough is not a process that can be rushed. Each loaf takes about 24 hours from start to finish, and my bake schedule is built around my full-time day job. On occasion I may already be prepping the same kind of dough you would like to order and can accommodate a faster turn-around time; you are always welcome to reach out to see what I may be baking on any given day.
Do you ship?
Yes, shipping can be arranged. Reach out to me to discuss details before placing your order.
Do you ever have extra loaves available?
Yes. Sometimes after market events I may have loaves available for same-day pick-up. Sign up for my newsletter and/or follow me on Facebook. I will publish information about extra availability there.
